Pharmacy Assistant - Full-time

Apex Pharmacy is a professional, locally owned pharmacy proudly serving the long-term care community and seniors in assisted and independent living throughout Abbotsford, BC and surrounding communities. We are currently seeking a hard-working, reliable, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing team. If you enjoy helping others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to learn new skills, we would love to hear from you.

Compensation

$19.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring our patients receive their medications accurately and on time.

Responsibilities include:

Packaging medications
Preparing delivery bins and orders
Making deliveries to care facilities and clients (valid driver's license required)
Blister packing medications
Assisting with compounding activities
Supporting daily pharmacy operations
Working collaboratively with pharmacists and team members

Comprehensive training will be provided.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving abilities
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Exceptional organizational skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license (required)
Pharmacy Assistant experience of at least 1 year (preferred)
Experience using Kroll Pharmacy Software is an asset

Schedule:

Full-time
Monday to Friday
Shifts:
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or
- 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
No weekends
No statutory holidays
